EHRLICH, ARNOLD BOGUMIL

(1848-1919)

   American biblical exegete of Polish origin. He was born in Wlodawa near Lublin. He worked as a librarian in the Semitics department of the Berlin Royal Library. At the age of 30 he settled in the US. He helped Franz Delitzsch to translate the New Testament into Hebrew and later published Hebrew and German commentaries on the Bible.
